Why is this unbelievable? Paintings can take a lot of hours and there’s an entire movement dedicated to hyper-realism. And ha to Andrew… Looks like Venice to me as well.

Yeah, that’s understandable. If you draw on a large scale, and then resize it, it could definitly make it look like that.
500+ is way understandable.

yeah, it makes sense. i’ve done stuff in ms paint and it’s a bitch.. and people work at different paces. although my stuff isn’t nearly as nice as that. xDD

If he says 500hrs, I believe it. It’s a beautiful work and shows an awesome talent. I’d love to see what this artist could do with oils or watercolor!

Someone could have easily painted this in four hours, with the same detail.

Yes, i believe that. My friends dad designs characters for computer games, and he does some very high quality images in MS Paint, just doing 1 pixel at a time.

Naw. It is not that real. I used to live near Venice. The water is not mucky enough and the buildings are too clean. This is more the Vegas version of Venice. It is a pretty lame accomplishment.

Well, if it was done pixel by pixel then perhaps it’s possible. Not sure why anyone would want to use such an archaic program as MS.
